The National Industry Innovation Network (NIIN) has expanded its national footprint with the launch of Innovation Central Sydney, located at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in the heart of the Tech Central precinct.
The new hub creates a dedicated environment where industry, government and researchers can come together to prototype, test and scale emerging technologies — with a focus on artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, connectivity and sustainable engineering.
Co-located on campus, Innovation Central Sydney provides direct access to UTS research expertise, student talent and Cisco technologists, enabling faster and more effective collaboration from concept through to deployment.
As part of the broader Innovation Central Network, the Sydney hub connects into a national ecosystem purpose-built to accelerate the translation of research into real-world outcomes — strengthening Australia's capacity to adopt and scale the technologies that will define the next decade.
